Advocate Tomasz Romańczyk

Advocate Tomasz Romańczyk is a graduate of the University of Wrocław. He completed his studies at the Faculty of Law, Administration and Economics in 2002. From 2002 to 2006 he underwent advocate's training (aplikacja adwokacka) under the supervision of the Dean of the Regional Bar Council (Okręgowa Rada Adwokacka) in Wałbrzych, advocate Grzegorz Janisławski. He has practised as an advocate from his own individual law chambers since 2006.
He guarantees legal services in English. In 2003 he completed a specialist course in business English, covering trade and economics, which he concluded with an examination certified by the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI).
For many years he has held various bar and public positions:
- Judge of the Disciplinary Court of the Bar Association (Izba Adwokacka) in Wałbrzych — three terms of office.
- Member of the Regional Bar Council (Okręgowa Rada Adwokacka) in Wałbrzych — second term of office; currently Secretary of the Regional Bar Council in Wałbrzych.
- Delegate of the Bar Association in Wałbrzych to the National Bar Congress (Krajowy Zjazd Adwokatury) — on two occasions.
- Long-standing lecturer for the Trainee Advocates' Training Commission (Komisja Szkolenia Aplikantów Adwokackich) of the Bar Association in Wałbrzych.

In his extensive and varied professional practice he handles:
- comprehensive legal services for local-government units
- comprehensive legal services for businesses (incorporation, transformation, merger and dissolution of commercial-law companies, with particular emphasis on the limited liability company (sp. z o.o.), legal support for shareholders' meetings, share transfers)
- civil matters, including:
- damages of all kinds, in particular claims for compensation and redress, pursuing claims against insurance companies under third-party liability (OC) and comprehensive motor (AC) policies;
- matters in the field of property law (ownership, perpetual usufruct, acquisitive prescription, usufruct, easements, possession, division for use, real-estate transactions);
- matters in the field of the law of obligations (reviewing contracts, negotiating contracts, judicial and out-of-court pursuit of claims);
- matters in the field of succession law (intestate succession, testamentary succession, assistance with drawing up wills, confirmation of entitlement to an estate under statute or will, the legitime portion);
- family matters — divorce, legal separation, maintenance, division of marital assets, custody matters, parental authority, foster families
- commercial matters
- criminal law and penal enforcement law, in particular offences and minor offences against road safety (e.g. road accidents, driving under the influence of alcohol or while under the influence of alcohol, drifting, illegal street racing), offences under the Act on Counteracting Drug Addiction, the European Arrest Warrant (EAW), penal enforcement matters — in particular deferral and interruption of the enforcement of a custodial sentence, serving a custodial sentence under the electronic monitoring system (SDE), conditional early release.
